On January 18, 2020, Institute of Commerce, Nirma University organised an Awareness Generation Workshop on Export-related matters in partnership with Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce, Ahmedabad Regional Office. Prof Udai Paliwal, Dean, ICNU welcomed the guests, faculty members and students in the workshop. Addressing the students and faculty members of ICNU, Mr Anil Chaudhary, Additional DGFT, Ahmedabad highlighted the importance of exports in the economic development of the nation and the role of schemes like NIRYAT BANDHU in handholding of the young entrepreneurs. Mr Rohit Soni, Deputy DGFT, Ahmedabad made a presentation on the Niryat Bandhu scheme which emphasised on the necessities to become an exporter, knowledge of INCO terms and payment terms, understanding HSN, and SEZs among others.
