  • The students seeking admission in the 1st year of B.Com. (Hons) shall have passed the HSC examination (10+2) [or any other recognized examinations considered equivalent by Nirma University with English as a subject along with any one of the following subjects: Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • The candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in the HSC examination (10+2) [or any other recognized examinations considered equivalent by Nirma University]. Total marks obtained in 5 best subjects in 12th Standard will be considered for merit.

Step 1 – Filling in Registration Details:

Click on the APPLY ONLINE button on the Institute’s website. Please do this only after reading this document carefully. You will be taken to the Login page. Fill all the details of registration and click on Register.

Step 2 – Making Application Fee Payment:

You will receive an OTP on your mobile number and email id. Enter this OTP for verification. After verifying, a 06-digit password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email id.

Login to the page with the registered email id and password. The candidate will be directed to the page for creating a new password. Once the password is set, the candidate will be redirected to the final payment page.

[Note: You will have to use this User ID and Password for all admission related activities in the Admission Portal. If you have not received password, then you can contact Institute’s Administration Office on 07971652608 (between 9.00 am to 04.00 pm on all working days)].

The application processing fee is Rs. 800/- for General Category. The application fee is inclusive of applicable taxes. After filling up the necessary information the candidate will be directed to make final payment.

The payment can be made through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI mode. No other modes of payment are accepted.  Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Step 3 – Completing the Application Form:

The candidate needs to fill in the Personal and Qualification details here. The candidate will be able to fill these details once the HSC (10+2) results are declared.

At any later stage of the admission process, if it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/her is incorrect, his/her application for the admission will stand cancelled.

At the time of admission, if the applicant is not able to produce valid proof in support of the application or if discrepancy is found in the application details and supporting documents, then the application will be considered as INVALID, and will not be considered for admission.

Candidates should provide their correct contact details such as e-mail, mobile number, address, etc. in the application form that should be valid at least till July 2020.

The basis of preparation of merit for admission is given below for general categories of admission.

Criteria of Merit Preparation

  • Percentage Marks / CGPI in 12th Standard  Examination (i.e. HSC or equivalent) is used to prepare merit for admission into first year of the BCom (Honours) programmes
  • If two or more candidates have the same aggregate percentage score for 12th Standard examination, (i.e. HSC or equivalent), then the following scheme will be adopted to determine the merit for admission.
  • The marks obtained in the paper of English will be considered. The candidate with HIGHER score in paper of English will be given priority.

Applicants applying under both (General and NRI) categories have to select the option Both (General and NRI/NRI-Sponsored) under the tab of “Select Category” on the payment gateway page. The fees of both Category is Rs. 2300/-. The application fee is inclusive of applicable taxes.

The University has, in all programmes, separate intake of 5% for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf and South-East Asia Countries (CIWGC-SEA).

In addition, the Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationality (FN) students can apply under a separate intake of 10% in all programmes.
