The Institute of Commerce organized a webinar on the topic “Data Analytics in Accounting” on 30th May,2021 from 09:30 am to 11:30 am virtually on zoom meeting platform.
The Institute welcomed the Participants from all over the Nation and the Guest Speaker Dr. Partha S. Mohapatra (Professor of Accounting Analytics California State University, USA). Around 400 participants from all over the country registered for the webinar. Out of which around 240 participants were present during the webinar.
The webinar started at 9:45 am through Zoom Meet in dignified presence of prominent faculties, industrialist and UG/PG/Ph.D. students from across the country. The event began with the welcome address delivered by Prof. Udai Paliwal (Dean-ICNU) followed by the speaker’s session. Delivering the welcome address, Dean Prof Paliwal described accounting analytics as way of churning the accounting data into useful information. Prof. Mohapatra provided the participants with ian n-depth knowledge about data analytics in accounting, latest innovations in accounting and auditing, numerous data visualization tools, and much more. It was an interactive session in which the speaker provided important information before moving on to a question/answer session to clear the individuals’ queries.
CS Karishma Butani (Assistant Professor -ICNU) represented as the event’s coordinator, gave the vote of thanks to the attendees. All participants who took part in the session were given E-certificates.
