The National Level Case Analysis Competition (NLCAC 2.0) was launched with the theme – “BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN RHETORIC AND PRACTICE OF SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT”. This time due to ongoing pandemic all over the world, Institute of Commerce, Nirma University in association with Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD, Ahmedabad Chapter) hosted NLCAC 2.0. This event was organised by Faculty Coordinator CS Karishma Butani, Ms. Gopika Juneja and NLCAC 2.0 organising team of ICNU was conducted through an Online Platform i.e., Cisco Webex on 27th April 2021 and saw massive participation from several dignified institutions across India like IITs, IIM Rohtak, Delhi University, NLUs, St. Xaviers, GLS Ahmedabad to name few.
This was a team based event wherein a case was provided to the members to analyse and interpret the given situation with an aim of resolving dilemmas and complications within an organization. The cases was allotted on the basis of preferred areas of interest. These was broadly classified into:
250+ participants registered for the event in teams and elevated the level of competition. The competition was divided into three rounds. Round 1 of the competition concluded on 23rd April, with the shortlisting of teams for the Round 2 which was held on 27th April followed by the announcement of the results of competition and the team with the most innovative solution i.e. Team Fanatic from Institute of Technology, Nirma University (ITNU), Ahmedabad became the winner and runner up’s were Team Collective Solutions from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC), University of Delhi (DU), Delhi. The event ended successfully with the vote of thanks by Karishma Butani, Faculty Coordinator of NLCAC 2.0. The winners were awarded with exciting cash prizes and all the participants were given E-Certificates.
