Institute of Commerce, Nirma University (ICNU) celebrated Teacher’s day with the vibrant theme of Beautiful Pastels. The event was organized under the guidance and support of Prof. Udai Lal Paliwal, Director & Dean-ICNU and under the supervision of Faculty CS Karishma Butani, Cultural Coordinator-ICNU along with student coordinators Kashish Panjwani and Aditi Agrawal. Total 221 students attendant the event, of which 104 were female and 117 were male. The program was initiated with the applauded welcome by the students to their respective faculty and staff members and followed by prayer and devotional dance. The event also witnessed the showcase of Poem recitation, dance, music, and skit performances, dedicated to their teachers. The dance performance was coordinated by Kamya Maheshwari, Akhil Garg, Mugdha Pandit, and Ishita Malik, the Music performance was coordinated by Sarthak Vijay and Haritima Singh and Skit was under the coordination Saket Patel. Students also presented speeches for each and every faculty and staff member of ICNU as a token of gratitude and acknowledgment of their doings. Followed by this the program reached to its most amazing segment where faculties had participated in various games and fun activities, with the inclusion of interaction sessions, bingo, pen game, and badly plot movie games, where faculties were divided into teams and showed their competitive spirits with laugh and fun. Later each and every faculty and staff member were felicitated with a special title as per their personality. After this director and dean Prof. Udai Paliwal Sir, congratulated the success of the program and appreciated the students for their efforts, through his speech. And at the end, student coordinators presented the sapling to the faculty and staff members as a token of gratitude and concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
