In a bid to empower BCom (Hons.) students with essential knowledge about investments and financial planning, ICNU organized an expert session titled “What I Learned about Investments in My 23-Year Work Career?” at the NIM Auditorium on August 8, 2023, between 3 to 4:30 pm. Mr. Pawan Nahar, an alumnus of Nirma University, and a seasoned financial expert with an illustrious career spanning over two decades was the invited expert. With experts’ extensive experience in the field of investments, students gained invaluable insights, strategies, and lessons on investment decisions that have been acquired through years of dedicated work. The attendees gained insights into core principles of successful investing, including risk management, diversification, and understanding market trends. They learned the importance of setting and achieving long-term financial goals, and how investments play a pivotal role in securing a stable future. The session saw active participation from students with overwhelming questions from their inquisitive minds to address their investment queries. The event saw the participation of 400 participants including students, and faculty members. The event ended with a vote of thanks and a memento presented to the guest by Prof. Udai Paliwal – Director, ICNU.
