The Literary Committee of the Institute of Commerce, Nirma University organized National Youth Day celebration on 12th January, 2026.
Program Highlights
The program commenced with a warm welcome to the guests and participants. A group of three volunteers from Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari started the program with Omkar prayer. The prayer was followed by the welcome of the Speaker and volunteers.
The speaker of the occasion Shri Utsavbhai Patel, former Faculty Development In-charge at GTU worked with well-known institutes and universities including IIT,Bombay. He is well-versed in the teachings and ideology of Swami Vivekananda. He highlighted the importance of self-confidence, character building, service to society, and continuous learning. His address motivated students to apply these values in their academic and personal lives.
Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari also gifted a booklet on Swami Vivekananda’s vision for youth empowerment and nation-building to all the participants. The audience actively participated and showed keen interest throughout the program.
Participation
Students actively attended the event. The interactive atmosphere encouraged meaningful engagement and thoughtful discussions.
The celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was conducted successfully and achieved its educational and motivational objectives. The program left a lasting impact on students and encouraging them to follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda in their daily lives.
