The NSS Unit of the Institute of Commerce successfully organized a One-Day Activity Camp at Naj Village on April 6, 2026. The camp aimed to instill social responsibility and promote community engagement through awareness and service initiatives.
Volunteers participated in activities such as wall painting at the Divyang School and slogan writing throughout the village to spread social awareness. Interactive sessions with BPL families helped build trust and laid the foundation for future initiatives. A financial awareness activity educated households on financial preparedness and emergency helpline numbers. Additionally, engaging sessions with children fostered participation and brought joy to the community.
The camp proved to be a meaningful experience for both volunteers and villagers. It enhanced students’ communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while contributing positively to community welfare. The Institute of Commerce looks forward to organizing similar initiatives in the future.
