Addressing the students of Institute of Commerce, Prof (Dr.) Ross Vardiar, visiting faculty at University of Amsterdam and CEO of “Royal Dutch Advisory”, Netherlands, shared his life experiences beginning from the incidents of racism that used to happen in apartheid South Africa.
Sharing how his parents supported him, how he chose his career paths and how he became an Individual that he is today, Dr. Ross underlined that one should not forget to make time for one’s loved ones. He advised students not to chase success or money. He emphasised that if one chooses happiness, both success and money follows.
He reminded students that the key to success starts with “them” and their pleasing personality in today’s competitive and digital world. “Be aware of Intolerance – this is a silent killer of knowledge and it will reveal to the world your exact stock of ignorance” was his personal advice to ICNU students.
The Dean of ICNU, Prof. Udai Paliwal welcomed the guest Dr. Ross Vardiar and highlighted how Dr. Ross has been a source of motivation for young minds at various institutions of higher learning where he worked or visited for guest lecturing etc. in Africa and beyond. CS Karishma Butani delivered a formal vote of thanks.
