Karishma Butani has more than four years of experience in academics. She has served as a Coordinator of Centre for Professional Studies (CA/CS/CMA) at a grant-in-aid college affiliated to Kachchh University for one year and also looked after all the activities of the centre.
She has also served as an Overall Coordinator for six months at the Study Centre in Kachchh Region of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
She has also worked as a Management Trainee for one and a half year under a Practicing Company Secretary (PCS).
Her specialisation is in the subjects of Corporate Laws, Corporate Governance, Behavioral Finance and Taxation. Her area of interest for research is Behavioral Finance, Corporate Laws, Corporate Governance & Taxation.
She has attended faculty development programmes and presented papers at various national and international conferences and has also won best paper award for the same. She has published 3 research papers in the journals of international repute.
She had successfully organised a two week Capacity Building programme (CBP) sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in the capacity of Co-Course Director recently hosted by Institute of Commerce, Nirma University (ICNU).
