Sumita Shroff Goyal has more than twelve years of teaching experience in academics, three years of research experience, and three years of work experience in the industry. She holds a Doctorate in Working Capital Management from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. She specialises in the area of Accounting, Financial Management, and Applied Corporate Finance. Her research interest is in the areas of Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Reporting. She has presented several papers at conferences and has won best paper awards for the same. She has fifteen publications to her credit in Scopus Indexed, ABDC ranked journals of international repute. She has served on various committees at the faculty and university level while working as an Assistant Professor at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She is a life member of Indian Accounting Association and Indian Commerce Association. She has successfully organised a Two-Week Capacity Building programme and a 10 Days Research Methodology Workshop sponsored by ICSSR in the capacity of Co-Course Director.
