Dr. Udita Banerjee holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, and an MPhil from the University of Burdwan. Her research interests include Indian Literature(s), Affect Studies, Border Studies, and Object-Oriented Ontology. As a Graduate Teaching Fellow, she taught courses in Writing and Communication at IIT Gandhinagar. Her scholarly work has been published in reputed journals, like the Journal of Postcolonial Writing, and she has contributed a book chapter to an edited academic volume published by Routledge. Dr. Banerjee has presented her research at various national and international conferences. In 2024, she was awarded a grant by Saarland University to support her participation in the international conference Emotional Dynamics of (In)security and Politics in Saarbrücken, Germany.
