Institute of Commerce, Nirma University (ICNU) successfully hosted Freshers’ 2025-a vibrant and heartwarming event organized to welcome the incoming batch with grandeur and enthusiasm.
The evening of 4th August, 2025, commenced with a formal welcome and a soulful prayer by the students, and an inspiring “International Commerce Day” address by the Director of ICNU. The M-Auditorium came alive with a variety of performances, especially curated by senior students to help the freshers feel at home in their new environment. These included captivating dance routines, dynamic musical renditions, and a thought-provoking theatre act.
Adding flair to the celebration was a dazzling fashion ramp walk, where titles such as Mr. & Ms. Freshers and Best Dressed Male & Female were awarded, much to the excitement of the audience.
The event was made possible through the unwavering support and vision of Prof. Dr. Udai Lal Paliwal, Director of ICNU, faculty co-ordinator, Dr. CS. Karishma Butani, whose dedicated guidance played a pivotal role in its success, and the hard work as well as creativity of the core committee of Kalanidhi, the cultural committee of ICNU.
Freshers 2025 was more than just an event—it was a warm, engaging, and unforgettable start to an exciting journey for the Batch of 2025–2029 at ICNU.
