Dr. (CA) Umang Ratani, a business growth coach, entrepreneur, author, and educator engaged was invited guest speaker to engage students on “How to find your purpose and grow in your career?” The aim of the session was to help the students find their purpose in their lives and excel in their careers consequently. He discussed the process of determining one?s purpose in life. He advised students to experiment with several different things in life and to have a collection of experiences. This serves the purpose of acquiring and trying different skills, experiences, and interests. The next step is to converge to a smaller number of dots, filter out the list of skills, to find your niche and what the world needs out of you. Later on, he added that, instead of doing several other things, master in one. But in order to master one or a few, one must collect several such experiences in the first place and then filter them out later according to his needs, capabilities and potential. Lastly, he added that in order to be able to make this process smooth, one must be a very good communicator and a good time manager. The guest session was conducted on July 18, 2022, between 12 t0 1 pm. The session was attended by 130 participants.
