Culture must be created continuously if we are to preserve it. “Tarang – The Music Club” of the institute celebrated “KALATMAK” – Ethnic Day 2023 with the vibrantly colored theme of “Regional Ethnicity” on March 17, 2023 at the IMNU Back Lawn. The event began with Saraswati Vandana.
Splendid music and dance performances by the students marked the event. It was followed by entertaining musical queues that thrilled the crowd as part of the lively Musical Night, which set the mood and energy for the evening. Our day’s chief guest, Dr. Sandeep Purohit, the assistant editor for Rajasthan Patrika Group, gave a motivational address thereafter.
After setting a jovial tone, amazing food stalls were set up for the Fireless Cooking Competition, which featured a variety of delicious foods. The winning team was ?Global Ethnicity? with Keyur Sanghvi, Bhagyashree Naulakha, and Anant Mittal as the team members.
Students participated in a very cheerful competition of Mr. and Ms. Ethnic wherein they played games, walked the ramp, and expressed their deeper selves to the judges of the ocassion ? Dr. Sumita Shroff, CS Karishma Butani, Gopika Juneja, CS Jhanvi Betai, Vishal Kothari, and Priya Badaliya. The coveted Mr. Ethnic title was awarded to Udit Maheshwari student of second year Bcom (Hons) & Ms. Ethnic to Yashvi Jain student of first year Bcom (Hons).
This was followed by the award distribution ceremony. The student planners’ heartfelt thank you speech and freestyle dancing for everyone marked the event’s conclusion.
Prof. Udai Lal Paliwal, Director & Dean-ICNU, provided guidance and encouragement, and CS Karishma Butani, Cultural Committee Coordinator, along with the student coordinators Sarthak Vijay, Saaransh Dhalwani, and Harsh Soni, oversaw the event’s planning.
