On March 16, 2024, Institute of Commerce at Nirma University, in collaboration with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and the Indian Accounting Association, organized an IFRS/IndAS Workshop for Accounting Educators to enhance the understanding and teaching of IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards among accounting educators. The workshop saw participation from 45 faculty members from different universities in Gujarat. Participants benefited from insightful discussions, practical case studies, and interactive sessions conducted by experts in the field. The workshop fostered knowledge exchange and networking opportunities, empowering educators to effectively incorporate global accounting standards into their curriculum. The workshop ended with memento distribution to Prabhanshu Mittal – Head of Education Learning Partnerships – North, East, and West India, and the trainer Zaheer Sayed by Dr Udai Paliwal – Director, ICNU. This was followed by a vote of thanks by Dr Sumita Shroff and Dr Nitin Saxena.
