Institute of Commerce hosted the “Orientation Programme” for the second and third year students of B.Com(H) on Tuesday, July 27 2021 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on Cisco Webex platform. The programme formally welcomed the students to the new academic year 2021-22.
Prof. Udai Paliwal, Director and Dean, Institute of Commerce welcomed the chief guest, students, faculty and staff in the orientation programme. Mr. Uday Dholakia, Leadership Coach and Chief Mentor, graced the occasion as chief guest and keynote speaker. He familiarised the participants about the importance of using SWOT Analysis to identify own strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. He emphasised that since SWOT affects personal as well as professional lives, it is important to have self-awareness about one’s own SWOT. The session was well appreciated by the students, as by knowing the opportunities and threats they face, they would be able to plan for their career in the future.
Dr. Avani Shah, Assistant Professor, Institute of Commerce, presented the vote of gratitude at the end of the session. It was followed by interaction of the faculty members with the students and the registration process for the new semester.
