Kalanidhi, the Cultural Club along with students of ICNU organized twin events on the occasion of World Photography Day. Students who couldn’t join campus yet had an event different from those available offline. With Taliban taking over Afghanistan days back, the organizers and the coordinator thought that the topic Equality in your Streets fit the best. Students were asked to send entries that according to them showed equality. They had to send them with captions, explaining in minimum words how their picture symbolizes equality. There were 15 entries.
Students available offline were asked to explore the university campus and capture moments and/or monuments that they felt is one of the best presents in the campus and pair them with a befitting caption. The organisers came up with this idea due to the current pandemic situation. This gave a chance to students to go about the campus and truly see it inside out. With the theme IC&U, the committee wanted all the participants to bring out the best of the university with their photography skills. There were 14 participants. All the entries were judged by Mr. Bhavesh Soni (Instagram – nextshutterstudio) who is a great photographer of people as well as still life. The winner of the events are as follows:
