PROGRAM –3   Audio -Visual Presentation

At the Institute of Commerce, Nirma University, a significant step was taken to fortify the commitment towards eradicating the menace of ragging from its campus. The Anti-Ragging Committee recently organized an audio-visual presentation that witnessed participation from approximately 180 students. This initiative showcased various Anti-Ragging Television Commercials (TVCs), short films, and documentary movies available on the UGC websites (www.ugc.ac.in & www.antiragging.in). These potent audio-visual aids served as an instrumental medium to intensify awareness about the severe ramifications of ragging, shedding light on its negative consequences.

The primary objective behind such an endeavor was to accentuate the university’s dedication to fostering a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for every individual. It is the firm belief of the institution that proactive anti-ragging measures resonate deeply with the core values of respect, integrity, and inclusivity. By ensuring such initiatives, the university is not just taking a stand against ragging but also working towards cultivating a conducive academic atmosphere, enhancing the holistic experience of its students.
