The Institute of Commerce, Nirma University (ICNU) successfully hosted the Teachers Day 2025, a vibrant and heartwarming event organized to celebrate the day with warmth, gratitude, and enthusiasm, honoring the invaluable role of teachers in shaping the academic and cultural life of the institute. The event was a blend of heartfelt tributes, cultural showcases, and fun-filled activities that brought faculty and students together.
The event started with the Sarasvati Vandana followed by a welcome address by Dean, Dr. Udai Paliwal, who spoke about the importance of teachers as guiding forces in every student’s journey. He also emphasized the values of mentorship and dedication that form the foundation of ICNU’s culture.
The celebration began with a touching video dedicated to the teachers, filled with heartfelt messages, cherished memories, and warm wishes from students. The video beautifully captured the gratitude and admiration that students hold for their mentors, leaving the auditorium filled with smiles, laughter, and a few emotional moments.
The atmosphere turned soulful with a melodious performance by Tarang – The Music Club. Their rendition of classic songs dedicated to teachers created a heartwarming and nostalgic vibe, making the audience sway and hum along.
Adding a fun twist, the next segment was “Guess the Faculty by their Childhood Photos.” Teachers’ childhood pictures were displayed on the screen, and students enthusiastically tried to identify their beloved mentors. The game sparked laughter, surprise, and playful banter, bringing teachers and students even closer.
Next, the stage lit up with a vibrant dance performance by Natraj – The Dance Club. With graceful moves and energetic choreography, the dancers expressed gratitude through rhythm and movement, earning loud cheers from the crowd.
The evening lightened up with a hilarious theatre act by Rangshala – The Theatre Club. The play presented everyday classroom situations in a comical way, exaggerating the quirks of both students and teachers. From mimicking teaching styles to poking fun at relatable classroom moments, the performance had the entire auditorium bursting into laughter, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the event.
The celebration was more than just an event—it was a heartfelt expression of gratitude, showcasing the deep bond between teachers and students at ICNU. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt felicitation of teachers, where students presented tokens of love and appreciation. This was followed by a joyous cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing the bond between teachers and students. The auditorium echoed with applause, laughter, and music, marking the perfect end to a memorable day.
The event’s success was made possible by the vision and leadership of Dr. Udai Paliwal, Dean of ICNU. It was executed smoothly under the dedicated guidance of Dr. CS Karishma Bhutani, Faculty Coordinator. Your dedication and creativity have played a crucial role in ensuring the celebration was lively, seamless, and memorable.
